Does anyone know where I can get the 3rd axis conversion kit ?
Bridgeport offered a Z axis CNC option on the EZ Trak
The first Z option was a piece of crap but the revision was really sweet.
I installed at least 20 without a problem and saw one guy make a tool
changer using the power drawbar and an inline tool holder.
Hardinge sells some replacement parts but not the kit.

It came with, Servo, Servo Drive, Fagor scale, Mounting box, Software,
adapter hardware etc.

No drilling was required, all the holes were already there.

The Z axis kit in made by Elrod Machine.

Their web site is www.elrodmachine.com.

Dwayne Elrod is the owner and inventor of this patented Z axis quill
drive system. He can answer all your questions.
