I have a 14" CNC lathe with a Fagor 800TGI Control. In the process of
rebuilding the lathe, the PLC program was lost (dead battery). After
several attempts to get a copy of the program from the OEM,I was
finally able to get a program for a slightly newer lathe which is very
close to the one I have. I've spent several hours on the phone with
Fagor in attempt to get the machine up and running, but am still
having problems. The control still does not work properly. I'm about
to send the control back to Fagor for evaluation and test. If that
doesn't take care of the problem(s), I am probably going to look for
an integrator who can either write a new program of come to my site to
get things sorted out. I have all of the wiring diagrams, manuals,
etc. Question: Is there any machine integrators on this group that
might be interested providing some assistance if all else fails?

Thanks in advance.

Would help if people knew where you were located.

You can't 'idiot proof' anything....every time you try, they just make
better idiots.

If all else fails you can give me a shout and we can
get something setup. I am a Fagor Integrator / Distributor
here in Texas and can come up there and get ya fixed up.
Writing the Plc onsite and getting it going should not be that
hard to do. I have written hundreds of them over the years
and that series control is about the simplest to do. We are extememly
busy right now though is the only problem and I would have to
try and fit you into he schedule that best fits mine. I will be out
of town this next week and will not have access to my email
until probably Wednesday this coming week. If you want to speak to
someone about it at the shop contact Jim O'Gorman @ 817-633-6373.
