Hi I am about to close a deal with a Daewoo cnc lathe Lynx 200LC for
55K . I almos got a used one for (2006) fo 39K.
Is 55K a good price?

Is it a reliable lathe?

The regular Manufacturer"suggested" price is supposed to be 67K(that
is what the sales mn says)

Any ony who purchased this recently?

Thanks

Not sure if the price is good or not, but I've had a Lynx
for 7 years and have had one Fanuc yellow box go bad and a
small board for the tool setter go south.

It's been a good piece of equipment and I would definitely
buy Daewoo again.

Do an RFQ from a couple other mfgs for the same size/hp/control/options.
You know what is on this machine, so just put it down on paper and send
it to some folks like Methods and others that deal diff mfgs. See who
bites and what the price is.

You can't 'idiot proof' anything....every time you try, they just make
better idiots.
