Attention CNC Operators and Machinist
A local precision machine shop in Orlando Florida is now hiring. We are expanding and in order to meet current demand for our product we are looking to fill the following positions:
Entry level CNC Operator
6 months to 1 year machining experience preferred, but a strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn is essential.
CNC Operator
3 to 5 years CNC machining experience with a preference to Mazatrol experienced operators.
Employment term: Regular
Employment type: Full time
Work hours: 2:15pm ? 10:45pm (2nd shift)
10:30pm ? 6:00am (3rd shift)
Starting pay: 10.00 ? 14.00 per hour (Entry Level)
14.00 ? 17.00 per hour (Operator)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Operates assigned work center (Mazatrol CNC lathes) involving precision tolerances.
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work from verbal instructions.
· Ability to use applicable inspection / measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers etc. as required.
· Responsible for verification and documentation of part dimensions and tolerances as required for quality.
· Required to visually inspect parts for surface details and machining finishes with a close attention to detail.
· Knowledge of general shop math.
· Meet or exceed current productivity standards.
· The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
· Provide general upkeep and preventative maintenance on assign work center.
· Ability to work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.
· Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
