I teach at a community college and we have two Cincinnati VMC's and two
turning centers with Siemens/Vickers Acramatic 2100 controls. We have
used Mastercam for years and have had good post processors for our
Cincinnati VMC's and our Fanuc VMC, but I can not find a Mastercam post
for the lathe.

In the Mastercam library of posts the 15 posts they have for the 2100
are not even close. I know I will probably not find a perfect post, but
I need to start with something closer than what I have now. Is there
any one out there that can help someone in education. My dealer is
willing to write a post if I spend countless hours proofing it for him,
but I do not have that kind of time. We are currently using version 9
of Mastercam.

Don't make your first post there to ask for a post processor or you
are likely to be crucified. They're sensitive about "pirates".They
will answer specific questions about how to edit *your* post. Contact
your MasterCam dealer or possibly your machine dealer.

They have a MasterCAM forum and also a MasterCAM sub forum specifically
for posts. I'm sure you will get the help you need there.

You probably has an X value in one of the main offset or pallet offset
registers, which adds to your setup values. To keep things simple, only
use the "Setup" registers group (32 offsets are more than you'll ever
need) - the other offset groups should always be empty.
