Baruffaldi turret problem

Our Johnford 35 has Barufaldi turret. We have a strange problem. In the
morning we have turrest indexes fine but late in the after noon turret
starts to mis- index, get stuck and Alarm comes on. It also feels warm to
the touch.
we reset the machine and starts again.
Also it seems to index quite fast.
Any helpful tips are much appreciated.

Thank you Alec,
Yes, I have talked to Steve and you are right he is
very helpful. I was thinking if some one had the same problme then perhaps I
could learn from the experience.

Check the "cushion" disks they disintegrate and will cause problems
before total failure. They are easy to check with out total
disassembly.
