the UN is not nor ever has been anti American, unless of course when it
expects the US to follow the same rules as everyone else.
the UN's lack of effectiveness is primarily as result of the 5 permanant
secruity council members expecting to be exempt from the resolutions
they want the rest of the world to agree to,to be enforced at gun point if
they call for it.

The US, especially calls on the UN to legitimize it's bullying and then says
it is exempt from the UN doing the same to the US.
and then the US turns around and wonders why much of the world is picking on
them. talk about blind arrogant self importance.

Isreal, is for all intents and purposes the US proxy in that part of the world.
When the energy reserves have dwindled to neglible Isreal will be left to it's
own devices,and US financial support will fade.

Isreal created Hamas,and the PLO before it. Maybe I should clarify as JB won't
understand, Isreal created the conditions in which the Palistinians considered
Hamas the best of the limited options,which really shows just how bad conditions
are.
and the reason that Hamas is the best option available for the Palistinians
is it suits Isreal and the US.
